These rubbers prevent damage to the paintwork, prevent rattling and ensure that the correct distance is maintained during assembly.

To make assembly easier, you can use glycerine as a lubricant (see "Options" tab). A professional restorer knows better than anyone that rubber parts should never be assembled with grease, multi-spray, soapy water or other agents; only glycerine is used for this purpose. The use of agents other than glycerine may damage the rubber and accelerate aging.
