If you smell gasoline, check all fuel hoses and don't forget the gasket on the fuel gauge.
When removing the float from the fuel tank, it is also advisable to always install a new gasket.
Note: The seal is identical to the original, not to be confused with reproductions that often deviate from it, which does not improve the fit. In addition, all seals are resistant to fossil leaded and unleaded gasoline E5, E10, E15, E85 and Diesel.
