These external 4.3 mm serrated washers, commonly known as M4 serrated washers, were originally used to secure the parking heater safety relay (auxiliary heater) and, on the VW Type 3, to secure the cable that locks the backrest.
All dimensions of these serrated washers are shown in case you need them for another application.
