The very first Volkswagen Beetles were equipped with a master cylinder on which the brake fluid reservoir was mounted directly. Later, the reservoir was moved to the trunk, making it easier to fill and check the fluid.
With many Buggys and other VW Beetle derivatives, this system is worthless, the risk of the supply lines becoming detached is great, and it is not always easy to find a good location for the brake fluid reservoir.
Many Buggys are therefore equipped with a master cylinder with a screwed-in reservoir, but this has its limitations, as there is no master cylinder with a fixed reservoir for a separate brake system.
But this is now behind us, you can now mount a master cylinder for a separate brake system with the brake fluid reservoir mentioned here which is directly inserted into the existing rubber tulle.
Next to this reservoir you only need a brake master cylinder that is mentioned on the options tab, you replace the existing plastic tulle with this conversion reservoir and you have achieved your goal: a separate brake system with a fixed brake fluid reservoir.
Note: The brake fluid reservoir is only suitable for new master cylinders, the old original master cylinders have 15 mm mounting holes instead of the required 19 mm.
