Product description
The dashboard of the Volkswagen Type 3 was luxuriously equipped with a soft top from the outset. Very modern for its time, only the most luxurious brands were equipped with it.
The plastic dashboard also had its drawbacks, especially in hot climates. Under the effect of sunlight and high temperatures, plastic dries out more quickly, causing cracks. Given the age of the Type 3, most dashboards are no longer the best and replacement is the best solution.
This replacement cover or dash pad is suitable for all model years of the Type 3, but visually has the appearance of cars produced from model year 1971 onwards.
The big difference is in the section above the radio speaker, which has the appearance of the latest models. In fact, the original radio speaker panel disappears on later models, and is now integrated into the plastic of the dashboard.
