Product description
o achieve the correct compression ratio, spacer shims must be used. These shims are installed between the cylinder and the crankcase, or between the cylinder head and the cylinder.
It is possible to combine multiple shims of different thicknesses. This is allowed but not recommended. If possible, install one shim between the cylinder and the crankcase and one shim between the cylinder head and the cylinder.
The shims listed here are only suitable for installation between the crankcase and the cylinder. If cylinder head shims are available, they can be found in the Related Products tab.
For each shim, both the thickness and the inner diameter are specified. It is also indicated which common cylinder bores they correspond to. To be sure, always measure the underside of the cylinder to ensure you order the correct size.
