Product description
On VW Buses used for passenger transport, or equipped as ambulances, the side doors are also equipped with trim panels on the inside.
The door handles on these Buses are chrome-plated instead of plastic, and are equipped with an escutcheon that is also chrome-plated. On the rear door, it rests on the trim and on the front door, on the locking mechanism. A spring behind the rosette keeps it pressed against the door handle.
In many Volkswagen Buses, this spring is missing and so the escutcheon is loose between the two, which can vibrate while driving, and the escutcheon does not fit properly against the door handle without the spring.
