Product description
The Volkswagen Bus was fitted with front brake calipers from August 1970. In the 1973 model year (from August 1972), these calipers were revised and remained unchanged until 1986. Complete calipers for the first VW Buses series became increasingly difficult to obtain, nor were they available as reproductions. To get around this problem, this adapter kit was designed, making it possible to fit the more recent calipers (intended for VW Bus models from August 1972 to 1986) on the first series (the build years from August 1970 to July 1972). In addition to this adapter kit, you'll also need a set of new calipers, listed separately below in two qualities. The adapter kit is designed to fit two calipers.
Calipers from August 1972 to 1986 (up to chassis number or VIN 24 G 120 000) are available in two qualities: original and reproduction.
