All Volkswagen Beetles with a roof lining that extends under the rear side windows and therefore also covers the entire B-pillar are equipped with these serrated mounting strips, behind which the headliner is fixed with a rubber finishing edge.

These strips are welded to the B-pillar, so it is important that when working on the restoration, check to see if these strips are still present, they may well have been removed by a previous owner.

When they are no longer present, it becomes difficult to properly mount the headliner on the B-pillar.

The length of the strips is 452 mm, this information allows you to determine the number of strips you need. If you want to use these strips for another purpose, then the length is also interesting to give.
