Product description
If, at any point, your foot swings from left to right during acceleration, it's time to take a closer look at the accelerator pedal hinge. It is often damaged, rusted or worn, resulting in a lot of slack. Do not spend too much time on this and fit a new hinge bracket (with a new hinge pin and/or a new accelerator pedal if necessary, see "related parts" tab).
This support is welded to the floor. When purchasing a new floor, this is only included with the Volkswagen Split Bus and must be ordered separately for all other VW models.
The accelerator pedal, hinge pin and spring are the most common parts that need to be replaced often, take them in addition if necessary. Examine the situation and perhaps it would be better to take a repair kit as well. See the "related parts" tab.
