Product description
The area where the convertible top hinges is always greasy and dirty. To protect the occupant's clothing and conceal the hinge, a plastic cover plate is mounted on the hinge.
These plates are often cracked, yellowed or missing. Post-1968 models are available in white and black to match the color of the interior awning. It is also possible to deviate from this rule and examine, for example, the color of the rear bench seat to which these panels are attached.
Note: Volkswagen Beetle models from 8.1967 are made of polyester, all other model years and all other models are similar to the original in plastic. Polyester may differ from the original material, but this makes no difference to the appearance - it's simply stronger than plastic, and virtually impossible to crack.
