DZUS quarter turn fasteners are mainly used where bodypart have to be dismantled quickly.
A DZUS quarter turn fastener consists of two parts, one part is mounted on the chassis and the other part in the bodywork. You can open a DZUS fastener by using a coin or standard screwdriver and turning it a quarter turn.
There are two types of DZUS closures available, with or without a metal plate.
When there is a strong mounting surface available is available you can use the #144. If you are using fibreglass it could be helpfull to use the DZUS fastener with the reinforcement plate #98.
The fixtures are suitable for parts with a thickness from up to 1.59 mm.
