The oil sump plate of the Type 1, Type 3 and CT/CZ engines is secured with 6 cap nuts to prevent leakage through the threads. For type 4 motors, this is a central nut, for the same reason that a closed nut was chosen here as well.
On type 1, type 3 and CT/CZ engines, it is often found that the cap nuts have been replaced by normal nuts, partly because of this the underside is often under the engine oil. With type 4 motor you will not encounter this, this nut can only be replaced by the original.
