Product description
The fan in front of the radiator keeps the engine temperature stable. When the engine is cold, the fan does not start, when the coolant temperature exceeds the set value, the fan starts and keeps the engine temperature stable.
If the fan continues to run or does nothing while the temperature rises, it is often the thermostat switch that has failed. If the fan does nothing, you can test it by connecting it to a direct power source (directly on the input wiring). If it refuses to work, your fan is broken and you must replace it.
If a fin is damaged or broken, replacement is the only solution, do not take the risk of driving with a damaged fan. If the fan stops, your engine will heat up, which can cause massive engine damage.
Note: Check to see if the size matches the size of your old fan. If you transfer the plugs from your old fan, you can also use it for years up to 3.1985 (chassis number 24-F-100000).
