Many ideas for the perfect Cal look come from the 1950s, the early years of Volkswagen. Like the so-called "one-piece" door windows. These are one-piece windows, with the vent window removed.
For installation, the vent window is removed and the support on which it rests is sawn off. In addition, some holes must be drilled for the window channels to be mounted and the door latches must be removed and replaced with flexible latches. For 1968 and later cars, the window roll-up mechanism must be replaced with one that has a dual lift system, as this system was originally used between the years August 1964 and 1968. All these parts and the corresponding window frame can be found in the Options tab.
Instead of regular glass, you can also choose tinted windows, which have exactly the same tint as all other tinted windows available. In addition, you can choose between universal glue-in window rubbers or snap-in window rubbers developed specifically for one-piece door windows.
