Product description
Our Volkswagen was already equipped with rear seat belts in America and Canada in 1968, while the Mexicans only introduced them in the late 1980s. European models never had this security, but from 8/1961 Volkswagen included all mounting locations (for the Volkswagen Bus from 8/1963).
The mounting locations are on the Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia and VW Type 3 in the middle under the rear seat, on the sides below and behind the side window. In the Volkswagen Bus, they are located on the bottom plate behind the seats and on the sides. For the VW Thing they are located under the rear seats further to the left and to the right against the sides.
Also ensure the safety of your rear passengers by installing a two- or three-point rear seat belt, also suitable for attaching child seats.
