Product description
This intake temperature sensor is only suitable for 1600cc Mexican fuel injection engines and is located above the throttle valve in the throttle body. This sensor measures the temperature of the intake air and provides important data to the electronic control unit about the load phase the engine is in at that moment. The temperature sensor measures electronically using so-called NTC resistors, where NTC stands for Negative Temperature Coefficient: the semiconductor resistor reduces its value as the temperature rises. The resistance value associated with each temperature value is transmitted to the control unit in the form of a voltage signal.
