Product description
The housing behind the front panel ventilation grilles was never supplied separately by Volkswagen at the time, it was part of the front panel. On the front panel of the reproduction (see replacement parts tab), the housings of the ventilation grids are not included, you must reuse them or buy them new if the restoration of your existing housings is no longer possible.
These separate enclosures consist of two parts on each side, which must be welded together to form a closed container. The first thing to do is to cut out the marked areas for the grille at the front and the air flow at the back, then weld the front part on the front panel followed by the rear part against the front part and the rear part against the ventilation duct (see the related parts tab).
Supplied in 2 parts per side.
