Product description
Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but used universally. These parts can be identified by their reference number starting with the "N" of the German word "Normteile", meaning "standard parts". Just because it's a standard part doesn't mean it's still available today.
The hexagonal bolts listed here are identical to the original, so also with a tensile strength of 10.9, which is important for the applications of these bolts.
Note: always use Volkswagen-specified bolts with the correct tensile strength. Never use bolts of the same size, but with a different tensile strength from the original.
Below, for each VW model, you'll find a list of the uses for these and other bolts, and the total number of parts required.
