Der Ausfall des Distanzrings, der zwischen dem Nockenwellenrad und dem Verteilerrad montiert ist, kann zu einem kostspieligen Ereignis werden.
Der Original-Distanzring ist nicht dafür gedacht, die Belastung eines Hochleistungsmotors zu überstehen. Dieser Hochleistungs-Distanzring ersetzt den Originalring, er ist ein extrem starker, geschlossener Ring, der sich bei starker Belastung nicht öffnen kann.
Für einen Standardmotor hat dieser Hochleistungs-Distanzring keinen Mehrwert, so dass der Originalring (aufgeführt unter der Registerkarte Alternativen) ausreichend ist. Wenn Sie jedoch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt zusätzliche Anpassungen an Ihrem Motor vornehmen wollen, ist es sinnvoll, diesen Hochleistungsring zu verwenden, solange Ihr Motor noch demontiert ist.
