Disassembly

If the brake drum is difficult to

remove, turn the brake shoe ad- 5
justment bolts (at the back of

the brake backing plate, pictures

5, 6 and 7) in such a way that
the brake shoes no longer rub

against the drum. To do this, use

a special tool as shown in the

picture, not a standard screw-
driver. With a screwdriver you will

damage the opening in the brake

backing plate.
