replacing front drum brakes
You can use a socket spanner
4 with a piece of rubber under-
neath (picture 4) to have the
necessary friction. In principle,
you can do this without the rub-
ber as we show on picture 6,
but the socket spanner can slide
over the metal retainer. The tool
on pictures 2 and 3 has grooves
to get the same effect (friction).
The use of a gripper or pliers is
5 not recommended as you can
damage the parts.
