The space between the glass and the metal from the door is closed on all models with a rubber that tightens against the glass, this inner seal of the window is also called the window scraper.
This rubber not only ensures a neat finish and stops water, but also has a protective and conductive function when the windows are turned up and down.
Replace the rubber if any hairline cracks appear. With a cracked rubber, rain and water, which is used during a wash, have free rein. If the drainage holes in the underside of the door also turn out to be closed, your door will soon be filled with water.
