The turn signal switch is the most commonly used switch in your classic Volkswagen, so there is likely to be a time when this switch will fail. In most cases it cannot be repaired, so full replacement is the only option.
With each switch we describe the model and/or the year for which it was used. Don't just order based on the information provided, but also compare the image. Often a different steering column has been fitted over the years, so the information provided no longer corresponds to the year of manufacture and/or model of your Volkswagen.
For some switches, you can choose between A and B quality. The big difference lies in the corresponding robustness, flexibility and service life. If you opt for B-quality, you'll get a very inexpensive switch, but don't expect miracles. With an A-quality switch, you'll get a turn signal switch that works just as Volkswagen intended.
