A pulley with a smaller diameter and as light as possible is the key to a more powerful engine and higher rpm. The original steel pulley has a diameter of 170 or 177 mm, depending on the engine power. By keeping the weight lower and reducing the diameter, the "performance pulley" is created. There are few performance engines that use an original pulley, a performance pulley is part of the standard equipment of this group. When asked how much power this will bring you is difficult to answer, it depends on how your engine is assembled. But anyway, the power will increase with a performance pulley, although you shouldn't expect miracles, it's part of a set of decisions you'll make to increase the power of your engine. When mounting a performance pulley, there is something that you should take seriously into account; the smaller diameter will have a negative influence on the cooling capacity of the air, it is recommended to mount an oil gauge and possibly adjust your cooling if necessary. Performance pulleys are available in different diameters and weight classes, the weight and diameter of the power pulley are listed in the application and under the alternatives tab are the other power pulleys available. Your standard V-belt is of course no longer usable, order another V-belt (if available, they are listed under the options tab).
Note: Under the Alternatives tab, you will also find a Sand Seal Power pulley that provides better sealing or is used to repair a worn housing.
