Many people think that leaks along the valve cover are only due to a worn gasket, but in many cases the problem is with the tensioning clamp which has lost its strength and therefore no longer presses the cover properly. If you discover this problem on the road, bend the clamp (as a temporary solution). When you get home, you will have to replace it, because once the clamping range is lost, the clamping range will not be restored by bending.
Standard clamps are galvanized (like the original) or black coated and for Type 1, Type 3, CT/CZ and WBX engines also available in chrome.
If you have aluminum valve covers (Paruzzi 01767) and your clamps need to be renewed, they are not the same as the original ones, you need specific clamps .
Note: Don't forget to order new gaskets, these are not reusable. In the "options" tab, these seals are mentioned.
