With an air-cooled engine, the engine sheets metal (shrouds) are of vital importance and must be in good condition to avoid any form of cooling air loss.
The sheet metal (shrouds) consist of two parts which are placed on the left and right side of the cylinders, on the upper side connected to the fan shroud and on the lower side to the hottest shroud which dissipates the used (hot) cooling air.
These cylinder shrouds are available in the original black colour. If you want to turn your engine into a work of art, they are also available in a chrome version.
If you choose black sheets, you can have them painted in any colour you want, which is much more difficult with chrome sheets.
