The bumpers of most models are mounted with bolts that have a round chrome head. The same bolts are also used on the Volkswagen Type 3 to attach an originally mounted halogen fog light and on ambulances they are used to extend the stretcher floor.
The bolts are available in chrome steel and chrome stainless steel (on the "alternatives" tab, the other version is mentioned). With chrome steel bolts, not only the choice of material but also the general finish may differ per bolt, which is not the case with stainless steel bolts, these are equal if not better than the original.
With some VW models, there may be several lengths per application, check the "other models" tab if it appears that you need a different length.
Applications :
VW Beetle: Bumper attachment for the front and rear bumpers of the VW1300, VW1500, 1302 and 1303 from 8.1967(6 pieces per bumper) and for VW1200 from 8.1973 (4 pieces per bumper)
Karmann Ghia : Bumper fixing for front and rear bumper until 7.1971 (4 pieces per bumper)
Bay Window Bus: For mounting the rear bumper from 8.1973 (4 pieces) and for mounting the floor extension for the ambulance stretcher from 8.1974 (2 pieces).
Type 3: For mounting on front and rear bumpers from 8.1969 (4 pieces per bumper) and for mounting a halogen fog lamp (2 pieces).
Caution: There is no form of warranty on rust on chrome steel examples, it is the choice you make at the time of purchase, the stainless steel bolts have a full warranty that you will probably never have to use.
