The fitting of chrome-molybdenum threaded rods (studs) becomes important in high-performance engines that have to cope with high compression. Due to the high compression a threaded rod can sometimes break spontaneously. Not only for high-performance engines the right purchase, but also for standard engines, these studs are much better than the original. Especially if the old motor has already been overheated, so that the threaded rods are more or less stretched and the correct pre-tension can therefore never be achieved.
The thread is not cut on the threaded rods, but semi-rolled and hardened, so that you do not suffer from burrs and the nut runs smoothly over it, even under pre-tension. This is important for the correct tightening torque.
Available in both the standard length and 13 mm longer for long stroke motors.
Are delivered in a complete set including hardened washers to original specifications with the correct nuts which also meet the original specifications. These can also be purchased separately and are listed on the replacement parts tab.
