The bolts on the door hinges may be very tight (usually due to rust). Before attempting to loosen the bolts, it is advisable to spray the bolts through the openings with WD-40 in combination with the Rust Reactor (both can be found in the 'Options' tab). Give it time to adjust, then carefully unscrew the bolts. If it's difficult, turn the bolt back one turn, spray again, let the product soak in and try again to loosen it. Repeat this process until the bolt is removed in one piece.
In addition to a little patience, you will need a well-fitting Phillips screwdriver. If the bolt breaks or the threaded plate turns, you will need to replace the threaded plate.
The threaded plates are loosely locked into the A-pillar, this is necessary to allow the door to be adjusted, so you should not weld them in.
