Valve guides are worn out if there is too much play between the valves and the valve guides. This leads to excessive oil consumption and may even cause the valve to break. Replacing the valve guides is the only solution.
New valve guides must be pressed into the cylinder head and, if necessary, folded down to the correct size. Valve guides are available for both the intake and the exhaust and in different sizes.
Note: The engine information is as originally given. In some cases, multiple sizes are possible, the dimensions are on top. Please check the dimensions before ordering.
* If a letter is given in the specifications for material selection, it is the summary below.
B: Bronze alloy with high wear resistance, good fatigue and corrosion resistance, suitable for applications with medium stress levels.
SB : Silicon bronze, offering increased strength combined with silicon self-lubrication for excellent bearing and load carrying properties.
G : Gray pearlitic matrix cast iron, characterized by good wear resistance, suitable for applications with normal stress levels.
