Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all designed for a particular model, but are universally used.
These parts can be identified by the part number starting with the "N" of Normteile which means standard part.
You would think that these standard parts can be found in all hardware stores, but Volkswagen has not made it easy, they may be mass-produced standard parts for various applications, but most of them are not very common and therefore are not on the hardware store shelves.
It may be a standard part, but that does not mean that it is still readily available today. This is why many parts in our range with VW numbers starting with the "N" are manufactured specially by us or for us.
The screws mentioned here are equipped with a countersunk head of 3.5 x 13 mm and are made of stainless steel. If the screw head is visible, as is the case with interior panels for example, you may consider polishing the heads to a high gloss finish.
Below you will find a list per VW model where this screw is used and how many parts are needed in total.
