The cream of the crop when it comes to oil coolers is this 72-plate oil cooler which is equipped with a fan.
The oil is kept at a precise temperature, so the overheating that can occur during bottling is a thing of the past. The fan blades are positioned at an angle for maximum cooling capacity with minimum noise pollution. Changing the wiring may cause air to be blown out or sucked in, refer to the installation instructions.
In addition to this oil cooler, it is also advisable to install a thermostat (see options tab) that automatically turns the fan on and off at an oil temperature of 82°C. This is not necessary, you can also turn it on and off manually with an external switch (not included). The oil cooler measures 280 x 260 x 40 mm (W x D x H) and the fan is 12 volts.
Mounting advice : The fan is fixed with flexible spacers. If you do not press the fan against the oil cooler, the flexible arrangement will no longer be useful and resonances may occur. In order to mount the unit in the car without vibrations, it is advisable to fit vibration dampers between the radiator and the bodywork (see options tab).
