Shock absorber 6

The torsion bars will make the

rear axle go up and down, sepa-
rate from the chassis. Raising

and lowering the chassis would

not be comfortable if the move-

ment would not be controlled, 7
this is done by means of the

shock absorbers (5) that connect

the chassis to the wheels. With-
out the shock absorbers, the rear

axle can go up and down uncon-

trolled with disastrous conse-

quences. A good adapted shock
absorber for the application

(sporty, comfort, ...) is important.
