Coolant clamps are spring steel clamps that are constantly under tension, unlike normal clamps that are manually tightened with a screwdriver or socket wrench.
It is important to use the appropriate hose clamp for the diameter of the pipe. Overtightening and pipe damage problems are not a problem with these special coolant clamps, but we recommend that you replace them simultaneously with the installation of new pipes.
After a while, the force of the spring steel decreases, if you use old clamps on a new pipe, it may happen that the pipe comes off, this should be avoided at all costs.
Mounting and especially dismantling without the right tools is a difficult task, especially if the clamp is located in a place where you cannot reach it easily. We recommend that you purchase the special pliers listed under the options tab.
