Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but universally used.
These parts are recognizable by their reference number, which begins with the "N" of the German word Normteile, meaning "standard parts".
The 4.3 mm washers listed here have been used in a variety of applications. Listed below are the VW models for which they have been used, and the number of washers you would need if you were to replace them all for this application. The number of "X" may vary according to model, year of manufacture or version.
