If the pressure in the crankcase increases, the oil will flow out and choose the path of least resistance. With performance engines, valve covers will be one of the weakest points. By giving the crankcase more ventilation, this problem is solved.
By installing these plugs in your valve covers, you have created an outlet for crankcase ventilation. These plugs are not included in most crankcase ventilation kits, so you will need to purchase them in addition. The engine must not receive unfiltered air. With these plugs, you can also insert the air filter into your crankcase ventilation system.
Equipped with a double O-ring system that prevents leakage through the thread.
