It is a legal requirement to carry a small assortment of bulbs with you, with which you can replace a burnt-out bulb on the road.
You are taught to check your lights before you leave, but in practice no one does, and you only find out when someone else reports it. If the police report it, you can replace the bulb without further consequence. But if you don't have replacement bulbs or the right tools on you, chances are you'll get a ticket.
With that money, you could have bought many lamp kits. So make sure you always have a full set of spare bulbs with you.
The 6-volt bulb kit shown here consists of the following parts, one piece per piece:
Duplo headlight BA20d (35/35W)
Bayonet bulb BAY15d (21/5W)
Bayonet bulb BA15s (21W)
Bayonet bulb bA9s bayonet bulb (4W)
BA15s bayonet bulb (10W)
BA7s bayonet bulb (1.2 W)
Tubular bulb SV8.5 (10 W)
Ceramic fuse 8 A
