From the beginning to the end of production, our Karmann Ghia had front and rear window mouldings (convertibles only in the windshield rubber). There were two reasons for this: the moulding tightened the rubber better than it would have done if it had not been used, and it gave it a more luxurious appearance.
It is also much wider than that of the other VW models, which underlines the paramount importance of a luxurious look at Karmann.
The mouldings must be installed when the window with the rubber is mounted in the car, but be careful: use only glycerin as a lubricant and not other agents such as grease, soapy water, multi spray, etc. These agents can accelerate the aging process of rubber.
The front and rear window mouldings consist of two parts that are supplied in kit, but excluding the moulding connection clips, always take the latter in addition (see the options tab).
