If the crank slips when turning the windows, it can be assumed that the teeth of the mechanism are so worn that it is no longer possible to raise or lower the window. It is not possible to repair, the entire window mechanism must be replaced.
It is important to lubricate the spring or teeth with lithium grease before assembly, the mechanism must be well lubricated in order to be able to work as smoothly and quietly as possible. Many of the mechanisms that have broken down have dried out and the gears are worn out. So if you install dry, you can assume that your mechanism will not last long.
The mechanisms are delivered without the window frame, if rust has prevailed, it is advisable to order them directly (see the related parts tab).
