These rubbers are located on the sides of the hood frame, next to the hood brackets that anchor the hood when it is open.
They prevent the roof from folding too far, which would trap the headliner between the roof frame.
Many convertibles miss these rubbers and most owners don't even know they should be there. If this is also the case for you, it's time to restore this part of your convertible to its former glory.
