Ventilation grilles have been an inspiration to the aftermarket since the very beginning. Volkswagen was the first to offer polished aluminium trim for installation on the grilles.
For almost all ventilation grilles of all VW models, a decorative part was available at one time, but it is still available today for most VW models. Although it no longer comes from the original manufacturers, many companies such as Paruzzi have offered a reproduction, so that almost all the vent trims are still available.
All trims are designed to be mounted without special tools and without the need for additional adjustments. The assembly can be done by anyone in a very short time, for most trims it is only a matter of bending the clamping strips.
All the trims listed are made of aluminium like the original ones, not to be confused with polished stainless steel, which was never originally applied.
Note: The trims of the Split Bus and Bay Window Bus up to 7/1972 are the only grids of this type that have been used ex factory with the luxury models as standard. All other trims are accessories that you could buy at the VW dealer or in an accessory store.
