Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are used universally. These parts are recognizable by their part number beginning with "N" for Normteile, which stands for standard parts.
It may be a standard part, but that does not mean that it is readily available today. Therefore, many of the parts in our range, which have a VW number beginning with "N", are specially manufactured by us or for us.
We talk about screws when they are tightened with a screwdriver of any shape, a bolt only becomes a bolt when you have to use a socket wrench, ring wrench or pipe wrench.
The screws mentioned here are only used for mounting the solenoid on the starter of models that are equipped with a solenoid of similar design to the model mentioned in the related parts tab. In addition, these screws are used for mounting the loading ramp striker plate with Pick-up versions built up to 7.1979.
