1300 cc Type 1 cylinder heads have not been manufactured for years, but there has always been a good alternative in the form of revision cylinder heads. In order to be able to overhaul the cylinder heads, it is necessary that the cylinder heads are intact, i.e. without cracks or broken cooling fins. Over the years, more and more cylinder heads have been rejected until there is almost nothing left to overhaul. In other words, there are hardly any cylinder heads suitable for the 1300 cc engine any more, at least until recently. The 1600 cc cylinder heads have the same size and valve design as the 1300 cc ones, only the cylinder diameter is much larger, so the 1300 cc cylinder is too small for that. By inserting these spacers into a 1600 cc double-intake cylinder head or a 1500/1600 cc single-intake cylinder head, it fits the 1300 cc cylinder. These rings are specially developed for this purpose, so that there are no leaks, making them the perfect solution for using a new 1500 or 1600 cc cylinder head for the 1300 cc engine. No difference in appearance from the original. The availability of new 1500/1600 cc cylinder heads is not a problem.
The rings are supplied in four pieces for two cylinder heads.
Of course, you also need the cylinder head in addition to these rings:
- For 1300cc dual intake engines use 1600cc dual intake cylinder heads (see options tab)
- For 1300cc single intake engines use 1500/1600cc single intake cylinder heads (see options tab)
1600cc dual intake cylinder heads are supplied with valves, while 1500/1600cc single intake cylinder heads are supplied empty (but with valve seats and valve guides).
