Most classic Volkswagens are second or sometimes third cars that are only used for driving when the weather is nice. Due to the few kilometers we do with our classic, the exhaust wears out much faster than normal. Moisture stored in the exhaust silencer is more likely to turn into corrosion in occasional use than in daily use. If you never want to have to replace the exhaust, choose a stainless steel muffler, which is a little more expensive than a standard steel muffler, but will pay for itself in the long run.
The fit of the stainless steel silencer is very good, so the installation is also faultless: all the more reason to switch to a stainless steel silencer.
The complete exhaust system consists of several parts, under the tabs these are listed as far as possible, including the heaters as these are also part of the exhaust system with an air-cooled engine.
The exhaust is supplied without mounting hardware and/or seals.
