Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are universally used.
These parts are recognizable by the part number starting with the "N" of the German word Normteile, which means "standard parts".
It may be a standard part, but this does not mean that it is still readily available today.
Below is a list by VW model where this M10 bolt is applied and the number of bolts needed if you had to replace them all.
Note: Use this bolt only for the indicated application and do not use any other alternative for this application, the length and tensile strength are important.
