There's nothing more annoying than the fact that your entire vacation will be destroyed by swarms of mosquitoes and other vermin, which mostly make a killing at night. Keeping the doors and windows closed is the advice, but you can't help but let in a cool breeze when the temperature rises, which causes even more vermin.
Westfalia has developed screens for the rear hatch and sliding door of the Bay Window and Vanagon that put an end to this. If your Westfalia motorhome has been equipped with this additional accessory, it is a replacement, using the existing positions of the push-button elements.
All screens have a double vinyl edge that is impact resistant and will not tear at the slightest push. Available for rear hatch, sliding door and door windows.
Rear hatch screen
This screen is attached with snaps where the supplied push button base elements are screwed into the body with the supplied self tapping screws (pre-drilling is required).
Once installed, the rear hatch can be closed without removing the screen. You can choose between a fixed screen, where you have to release the snaps to access it, or a screen with a zipper in the middle, which allows quick access without releasing the snaps.
