Extreme rust in the lower section, a bent panel and sheet metal full of dents are the most common reasons why rear engine lid restoration is no longer possible.
With this new engine lid, you're put out of all misery, not a bad imitation that needs a lot of work, but a lid that's equal to the original with a one-to-one fit as it should be.
