Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are universally used.
These parts are recognizable by the part number beginning with the "N" of the German word Normteile, which means "standard parts".
It may be a standard particle, but that does not mean that it is still readily available today. That's why many of the parts in our assortment, whose VW number starts with the "N", are manufactured specially by us or for us.
The self-tapping screws mentioned here have a convex head with a Philips crossbar size 4.2 x 16 mm and are made of stainless steel.
Below you will find a list, per VW model, of the use of this screw and the total number of parts required.
