In any restoration, it will be necessary to replace the joints between the bodywork and the turn signals. The action of sunlight (UV rays) causes drying cracks. A rubber once dried out and cracked can be considered lost and will need to be replaced.
With some models, you have the choice of an A grade which is equal to the original in all respects, and if budget does not allow or for a low budget restoration, you can opt for a lower grade. This lower quality translates into a lower finish, the rubber dries out faster and may also have differences in design and fit.
